Adding the widget

Add the widget from the board's Add board content menu in edit mode.

Message formatting and deletion

Automatic formatting follows Gotify's extras["client::display"].contentType: text/markdown renders Markdown, text/html renders sanitized HTML, and absent or unknown types remain plain text. Markdown ignores embedded HTML. For producers without this metadata, select Markdown or HTML in the widget's message format setting. Scripts, event handlers, and unsafe links are removed; remote images in formatted messages may load in your browser.

The service link is a separate icon, so selecting message text or using message links does not open Gotify. Deleting a Gotify notification requires Interact permission on its integration and permanently removes the message from Gotify for all clients. Other notification integrations remain read-only.
